The big and colorful world of science


Who do traffic jams happen? How does the house of the future work? How is the center of the earth structured? Dresden’s Researchers’ Night will answer of those and many other questions.

Supercomputing and tumor fighting. Treasure hunts and magic mirrors. Flights simulators and 3D technologies. Gastronomy physics and cosmic music. These are just some of the topics you can learn about at the Science Night.


Visitors of the Science Night 2017 in Dresden will have the opportunity to x-ray toys and to program robots. The can take part in the award ceremony of the “Golden Clipboard”, visit a mathematics theater, watch hackers at work, and vote for the best women STEM slam.


The choice is yours! Luckily, there is a lot of time between 6 p.m. and 1 a.m. to visit presentations, exhibitions, experiments, guided tours, and other events.
