Description

Participants will have the opportunity to visit the 3D/4D scanning laboratory of the Chair of Development and Assembly of Textile Products. Individuals can have themselves scanned on site and take their scan data directly with them (processing takes about 15 minutes per person, including scanning and data processing). Meanwhile, the other participants will have the opportunity to observe this fascinating process live.
In addition, exhibits from various research projects will be presented, including a wingsuit, a suit for bodyflying in a wind tunnel, clothing with a stab protection function, innovative assistance systems for passive movement support, soft orthoses and much more.
Models, information and videos on the automation of textile assembly will also be presented.
