Description

Spin the wheel, discuss controversial topics with us, and use ping-pong balls to express your opinion before marking down when you last had an argument! Our program for the Long Night of Science features a wide variety of stations. We’ll look for common ground, discover differences, imagine the future, and ask about justice. We’ll bring plenty of hands-on materials for you to try out—from voting booths and various card game sets to wheels of fortune!

There’s something for the little ones, too: Design your own democracy machine, craft, experiment, and playfully discover how participatory decision-making works! With colorful materials, simple mechanisms, and plenty of room for imagination, you can show how decisions are made, who gets a say, and what’s fair. Come by and get creative!
