Computer Systems Systems Systems
In conventional computing systems, processors and memory are separate units, and moving data between them consumes significantly more energy than the computations themselves. Novel computing paradigms overcome this bottleneck by enabling computations closer to or sometimes inside the memory where data is stored. This demo showcases a toy example of one such system and how it can perform complex operations much faster than conventional systems.
