The Dresden start-up DIPALINO produces digital school and homework books for all tablets. Data protection compliant, app and hardware independent, so that every student can use it immediately in class. The aim is to easily convert analogue handwriting to digital and to minimize the hurdle of using technical devices in the classroom. The founder was able to win the Dresden-Pieschen high school as a pilot school, which is currently testing a digital homework book that not only saves paper, but also contains valuable information such as school events or teacher abbreviations.
In a conversation with the headmistress Kerstin Ines Müller, the advantages and disadvantages of using tablets in the classroom are discussed and how the use of tablets enables easier handling of digital teaching materials in order to better prepare students for the digital world.
