Discover the World of Sensors and Data in 4D Environmental Monitoring

How can environmental changes be detected early and cities made more sustainable? In our research, we combine sensor technology, photogrammetry, and artificial intelligence to make dynamic processes visible. Using data from cameras, drones, and laser scanners, we precisely capture and analyze changes in the environment, infrastructure, and society, and develop innovative solutions to address current challenges.

Description

Experience how state-of-the-art research becomes interactive and accessible. Discover how sensors detect movement, how artificial intelligence interprets human expressions, and how measurement data is transformed into digital models in real time.
At various stations, you can get hands-on: observe live 3D point clouds, test how sensitively measurement systems respond to your movements, or use a thermal camera to reveal hidden temperature differences. You will also gain insights into the use of drones and learn how they are applied for data collection in environmental and scientific research.
In addition, we present selected research projects - from analyzing environmental changes and assessing risks during extreme events to developing intelligent solutions for mobility and climate adaptation.
Our event invites you to experience modern technologies up close and explore the data-driven research of tomorrow.
