Natural Sciences
Step into the world of living cells — without a microscope, without a lab coat, and without any prior knowledge of biology or physics. At the Physics of Life stand, we invite visitors to put on a virtual reality (VR) headset and immerse themselves in vibrant microscopy videos and images collected by scientists in our labs. Our researchers will also be on hand to explain what you are seeing, and to answer any questions

Description
At the Cluster of Excellence Physics of Life (PoL) at TU Dresden, experts from physics, biology, and computer science collaborate to understand life down to its smallest components. What principles govern the organization of cells in the body? How do cells "communicate" with each other to form organs? And how do the laws of physics influence our DNA? These and many other questions are being explored by researchers at Physics of Life.
