Description

Dive into the fascinating world of cooperative, connected, and autonomous mobility (CCAM) and discover the future of transportation! At our interactive event, you'll have the unique opportunity to experience the innovations behind Cooperative Adaptive Cruise Control (CACC) up close.

A standout example of CCAM's capabilities is Cooperative Adaptive Cruise Control (CACC). This innovative technology enables vehicles to communicate in real-time and automatically adjust to one another to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow. By working together, vehicles can avoid congestion, reduce fuel consumption, and enhance road safety.

At our event, we offer you the unique opportunity to experience the benefits of CACC in a playful manner. We've set up a special racetrack where you can compete as part of a three-person team against three of our Duckiebots. Your task is to beat the Duckiebots by driving as fast as possible while maintaining a safe distance.

The highlight of this game lies in the pit-stop mechanisms, which demonstrate the advantages of CACC. During the race, you'll be prompted to stop at certain points to simulate delays and obstacles. Here, the efficiency of CACC becomes evident as vehicles automatically react to each other and absorb the delays to maintain smooth traffic flow.
