Want to try your hand at acting in a radio play? Children ages 8 and up, as well as adults, have the opportunity to experience the podcast studio by recording a guest role in our children’s and youth radio play, “The Message in the Mayan Codex.” You’ll get to take home a complete version of the radio play featuring your own performance.

Can a film convey culinary pleasure? Using examples from the documentary “Sugar and Tradition – Dresden’s Sweet Side” (Adina Rieckmann, MDR 2026), this session will explore how a medium that relies solely on images and sound can convey taste and the perception of aroma.

The film’s director and food historians Prof. Dr. Josef Matzerath and Dr. Janosch Förster will analyze examples and then be available to answer questions.
