All these contributions are explained at appropriate points on the virtual nature trail. Follow us on this path and enjoy the city's nature. For the Dresden Science Night, an approx. 4 km long section of the total path of just under 9 km will be walked. The excursion starts at the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER) at Weberplatz 1 and ends after about 90 minutes at the junction Bergstraße/Nöthnitzer Straße, from where you can continue to many other institutes and the TU Campus.
The entire path can be walked or explored by bicycle. It stretches from the banks of the Elbe in Dresden to the edge of the city in Dresden-Plauen. At a total of 17 virtual stations, you can use your smartphone or other mobile device to access information about the services provided by ecosystems (such as parks, meadows along the Elbe, street avenues, stream courses) in Dresden. On the knowledge trail, you will learn interesting facts about the location and about the various services of urban nature of a regulating, nurturing and cultural nature.
