Description

Slip casting of zirconia smiley discs

How does a liquid material become a solid component? Find out for yourself: cast your own smiley by pouring ceramic slip into small plaster molds – and watch step by step as your shape comes to life.

We clearly show you the processes involved, from shaping the material to the finished ceramic product. You can directly observe how your smiley dries and solidifies.

Curious about the result? Take a look at finished smileys on display – including semi-transparent examples that offer fascinating insights into the world of advanced ceramics.

Afterwards, you can of course take your cast piece home with you.
