Description

The mineralogical collection of the Senckenberg Natural History Collections Dresden brings together historically and scientifically significant minerals, crystals and rocks.

Its origins date back to the Electoral Kunstkammer founded in 1560, making it one of the oldest geoscientific collections in the world. Visitors can view selected minerals, crystals and remarkable objects from several centuries of collection history.
