Cotton, wool or synthetic fibres – we come across fibres everywhere in our daily lives. But what do they actually look like when magnified?
Using our microscope, you can examine various natural and synthetic fibres in more detail and discover their unique structures. In doing so, you’ll learn how materials differ and why their properties vary so much. An exciting insight into the tiny world of fibres!

What is in our waste paper? Take a close look on paper bales with our PaperBaleSensor

With the PaperBaleSensor (PBS), PTS has developed an innovative solution to determine the moisture, plastic, fibre and ash content of waste paper bales simultaneously and with high accuracy within a few minutes.
And now we are presenting the PBS live! Using a 100 kg bale of waste paper, we will show you the quality of the waste paper and explain what the sensor is used for in the paper industry.
