Point-of-Care diagnostics: Surveillance and control of infectious diseases
The visitors - preferably children - get an insight into the world of diagnostics. The experience from the Covid 19 pandemic showed us that under certain circumstances it is necessary to separate infectious patients from non-infectious patients in order to prevent epidemic outbreaks. This requires rapid, accurate diagnostics that can ideally be performed on-site. Here we show some examples of how such diagnostics can be performed.
