Sim.Lab Mathematics — Try It. Discover It. Understand It.

The Faculty of Mathematics at TU Dresden invites you to experience mathematics in a completely different way in the interactive “Sim.Lab Mathematics”: not as dry theory, but as an open space for trying things out, discovering, and understanding. At various stations, you can explore models yourself, run simulations, and see how mathematics helps make processes from nature, technology, and everyday life visible and understandable. All age groups are welcome.

Description

Renovation work is currently taking place at the Willers Building. Events in the A/B wing can be accessed via the inner courtyard – enter from Zellescher Weg (car park by the astronomical clock) via the steps and the passageway leading to the inner courtyard.

Note: Food and drink
The Mathematics Students’ Society will be welcoming guests to the Long Night of Science in front of the Trefftz Building with drinks and a vegetarian barbecue.
