Sperm, Insects and Neozoon

Sperm are one of the most versatile cells. They range from the 6 cm long sperm of some fruit fly species, which are only a few millimeters in size, to the 0.3 µm long sperm of the porcupine. You can learn more interesting facts about sperm from us.

We would also be happy to introduce you to the model organisms we use, such as the common bed bug.

Furthermore, we would be happy to guide you through the exciting exhibition "Schillern.Saugen.Segeln" in the foyer of the biology. Here we introduce you to new arrivals in Saxony.
