In order to make progress in the treatment of cancer, it is important that researchers from different fields - from biology and physics to medicine - work together. OncoRay brings clinicians and researchers from the HZDR, the TU and the University Hospital together to improve the treatment of cancer.

The common vision: to improve the cure of cancer through biologically individualized, technologically optimal radiotherapy.

The guided tours to the treatment room of the proton therapy facility and the guided tours to the experiment room start every 30 minutes.

You can also find out more about the Medical Radiation Sciences Master's program, which trains medical physics experts in radiotherapy, nuclear medicine and radiology.
