Description

Air moves and never stands still. Air pollution is one of the biggest environmental risks to health (strokes, heart disease, lung cancer...). In 2019, 99% of the world's population lived in places that do not meet WHO limits. Outdoor air pollution caused 4.2 million premature deaths worldwide in 2019 Who owns the air and how does the ILK Dresden contribute to clean air? Our global industrial partners contact us when they are looking for solutions for dedusting and separation of particles, nanoparticles, aerosols and gases. We are accredited for emission measurements. In our test centre, we examine filter materials and filter systems, qualify room air filters, carry out material tests, determine high-resolution dust concentrations, measure particle sizes and air velocities in open spaces and evaluate air quality in clean rooms, for example.
