Behavioral Economics - How and why we often do not behave rationally
It is commonly assumed that we behave rationally in economic contexts. In reality, however, our actual behavior often contradicts this. Difficulties in dealing with probabilities, statistics and other factors lead to paradoxes, dilemmas or wrong decisions. Behavioral economics looks at precisely these aspects. The lecture is intended to provide an insight into this area of economics.
