Automated and networked. Future mobility?

Digitization has become a major driver of innovation in the automotive industry as well. The technologies required for this and their potential are demonstrated using selected examples. Among other things, metrologically upgraded vehicles from individual and public transport will be shown and exhibited.
This year you will find us, together with some project partners, again on the Grounds of the Vehicle Test Center.

description

On the premises of the Vehicle Technology Test Centre, we are able to intensify research into safe and efficient automated driving at a single location.
With three full-vehicle test benches, we have the possibility to carry out the sometimes very extensive and complex road tests reproducibly on site.
In addition, we have four new measurement laboratories in which individual components such as battery cells, components of environmental sensors and other mechatronic vehicle components can be intensively examined, measured and tested.
The combination of the testing and experimental facilities located here is unique in the research and university landscape in Europe.
