description

Dive into the world of the thermodynamic cycle. The tour offers insight into the functioning of the refrigerator components as an exemplary application of refrigeration technology. The underlying principles are explained on exhibits by members of the professorship and made accessible to the visitor with small experiments. Take a look at how the refrigerant compressor works and which designs are available for different applications. Clarify the question how the refrigerator cools by visiting the booth on working fluids. Kids can experience expansion in the capillary tube in the crawl tunnel, while parents get up close with dry ice.
Throughout the evening, the booths are open to visitors and waiting for you with refreshments.
