description

Various themed stations guide visitors through the travelling exhibition. These tiny creatures, invisible to the human eye, play a crucial role in the cycle of life and the development of our planet. They are fundamental to the development of higher organisms and can be found almost anywhere on our planet: in the deep sea, in hot springs or even in your cheese. They characterise global material cycles and are important in areas of application such as food production, medicine and waste management.
Bacteria crafts, colouring pictures and children's books provide an introduction to the world of microbiology for all ages.
