Renesas Semiconductor in Dresden – We make our lives easier

For the first time, we will open our doors at the "Long Night of Science" and want to show you what our tiny components are used for, without which the digitalization of the economy would not be possible. Our engineers will be waiting for you in our meeting rooms to show you all the things that can be controlled and regulated with our microchips. From position sensing, which is needed for autonomous driving, to the use in gas sensors that measure the quality of the ambient air.

description

Since 2019, we have been part of Renesas Electronics, an international producer of semiconductors. Our location brings a lot of history, because as the former Zentrum Mikroelektronik Dresden GmbH we belong to the founders of Silicon Saxony.

We would like to use the evening to talk to you individually about our products and work approaches. What awaits you:

- ESD tests - How does the electrostatic discharge behave with different floor coverings or shoes?
- Take a closer look at our ICs under a digital microscope.
- How is a serial communication protocol decoded?
- What are our products like the position sensor in the car or the gas sensor in the air conditioner capable of?
- and much more...

Of course we are always looking for new talents for our exciting and future-oriented company. You are welcome to contact us about this.

Food and Drinks will be available as well.

You can reach us via
the special bus line N7, Stop "Grenzstraße" or
by Tram line 7, Stop "Arkonastraße" or
