Thermal wonder: from the candle to the impulse

Did you know that the first steam machines were powered by “heat force”? Have you ever seen a phase different than solid/liquid/gas? Do you know why pocket warmers keep your hands warm? Come by and let us show you the thermodynamic wonders.

description

During the event, several experiments (not dangerous) will be continuously performed. Among those experiments, we will show you a Stirling motor and a boat that only need a candle to work! Additionally, real-time phase changes will be shown with supercritical CO2 and warming “clickers” based on Phase Change Materials. Come, enjoy, and learn!
