description

Come visit us on our test track and learn about the possibilities of controlling automated vehicles remotely using 5G technologies.
Our demonstrator shows how driving functions are shifted from the vehicle to the operator center. Direct vehicle control is achieved with low latency and uninterrupted operation from the control center. The automated vehicle remotely follows driving commands from this technical supervision. In this process, information from roadside sensors is integrated with that of local vehicle sensors. Unlike previous singular test installations, 5G applications are tested and demonstrated here under real but safe and controllable conditions.
Intelligent infrastructure ensures that automated driving is efficiently secured in the future, enabling scenarios such as depot operations or orchestrating complex urban and public scenarios through networking.
