How can factors such as political instability, natural disasters, global threats, crime, and health risks ultimately lead to price forecasts for the construction industry? Come and find out about the power of this data in our presentation!

Due to its global procurement and supply chains, the construction industry is highly susceptible to price fluctuations in the global market. However, this sector can greatly benefit from digitalization. That is why the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) has launched the iECO project, which focuses on digital support for various processes and applications in the construction industry.

Fraunhofer IVI is developing big data technologies for real-time monitoring of commodity and material prices to help tackle these current challenges. The goal is to provide reliable predictions about future developments with the help of artificial intelligence.
